The design of the Arup office in Warsaw was created with the slogan 'With people and planet in mind'. Not surprisingly, an important focus of the project was light - the use of daylight and the best possible arrangement of artificial light. This was our task. Here are photos and a few words about the light in the Arup office spaces.

Eye-healthy and user-friendly lighting was an absolute priority for us. A detailed daylight analysis made it possible to maximise the potential of natural lighting.

The implementation of the innovative QLS intem system for the integration of daylight and artificial light, of which the light shelves are a component, means greater working comfort and energy savings of up to 60-90% per year.

The luminaires have been selected to provide the best quality of light and the most healthy conditions for the human eye, including through adjustable light intensity and colour temperature and a high CRI colour rendering index. The entire lighting system is based on light intensity sensors at each desk, as well as movement and presence sensors. User comfort goes hand in hand with energy savings.
