Autumn is harvest time - also for lighting awards!We are happy to share another piece of great news! The lighting designed by us for the Musical School in Jastrzębie has been recognised by the jury, which awarded our realisation an Honorable Mention in the international LIT Lighting Design Awards competition.Designed by SLAS Architects, the synthetic and thoroughly contemporary volume with its slightly rounded corners and few but large glazings at ground floor level has a very expressive façade. The corrugated metal cladding acts like a mirror, reflecting the light - both during the day and the city lights at night. The minimalist, white interiors called for an equally minimalist handling of light, and the form of a luminous circle - like a theme in a piece of music - runs through many scenes.The interior of the concert hall contrasts with the rest of the building's spaces. Black and the warm colour of wood dominate here. It is like a black Yin surrounded by a white Yang - symbolising contrast and balance, whether in music, nature or life.

Metropolitan Railway Station in Lublin, designed by Tremend in collaboration with Qlab Laboratory of Light, was awarded First Prize in the Transport category at the World Architecture Festival competition. What's more, the Metropolitan Railway Station was also named ‘Best Public Service Architecture Poland’ at the International Property Awards gala in London These successes are, of course, down to the entire project team, especially the architects, but it is our domain - namely light - that makes it possible for us to enjoy the view of these works of architectural and engineering art, both during the day and after dusk.We engage all our knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to create the highest quality light architecture. We are extremely proud that our work contributes to such extraordinary buildings.  

As many as 3 projects by QLAB Laboratory of Light were among the winners of the TopBuilder 2024 competition of Builder Polska magazine.We are extremely pleased to announce that:- Metropolitan Railway Station in Lublin- Museum of Polish History- Helena Majdaniec Summer Theatre in Szczecin have been honoured with this prestigious award. The aim of the competition is to honour buildings characterised by the high quality of the designed architecture, often timeless form, reliability of execution, requiring extraordinary qualifications and industry specialisation, with the quality of materials used guaranteed by certificates.
