MUSEUM OF THE WIELKOPOLSKA UPRISING 1918-1919

The Museum of the Wielkopolska Uprising will include a complex consisting of four buildings with different, complementary functions. A significant part of the museum will be located underground, where the main exhibition presenting the history of the only victorious Polish uprising will be built.
The biggest challenge was to design a huge underground exhibition space, covered by a reinforced concrete vault with oculus. An innovative lighting solution designed exclusively for the museum was used here. The lighting of the main exhibition space is inspired by the famous Roman Pantheon.
