The synthetic and strictly contemporary volume with slightly rounded corners and few but large glazings at the ground floor level has a very expressive façade. The corrugated metal cladding acts like a mirror, reflecting the light - both during the day and the city lights at night. The minimalist, white interiors called for an equally minimalist handling of light, and the form of a luminous circle - like a theme in a piece of music - runs through the building in many scenes.

The interior of the concert hall contrasts with the other spaces of the building. Black and the warm colour of wood dominate here. It is like a black Yin surrounded by a white Yang - symbolising contrast and balance, whether in music, nature or life.
